Miffed to be missing out on the start of the football season? Now you can catch the big games on the big screen from the comfort of your car.
Special drive-in football events are set to host Premier League matches in various locations up and down the country, starting on 30th June with Brighton vs Manchester United.
The events, run by 4TheFans, will held in Manchester, Birmingham, London and Brighton, with tickets available for just £10.
Some of the biggest outdoor screens in the UK will be used to host drive-in football this summer, allowing fans to experience the thrill of a live game while maintaining social distancing.
Ticket holders will be able to pull up and enjoy the matches with live commentary fed straight into their car stereos, including half-time analysis and other ‘entertainment surprises’ throughout the evening.
DJ Spoony has been confirmed to host the event on 1st July in London, commentating for Arsenal vs Norwich at 5pm followed by West Ham vs Chelsea from 7pm.
The clash between Manchester City and Liverpool on 2nd July will be screened in both London and Manchester, with events in specific venues in cities such as Birmingham and Brighton still to be announced.
Chris Butler, 4TheFans Director, promises fans a memorable experience: “A love of football has always been something which unites us and now the comeback is on, it’s important that we enjoy it as much as we can.
“With this in mind, we are beyond excited to be able to push the button on Drive-in football. There is no other fan experience like it and we look forward to announcing more screenings of the biggest matches shortly.”
Tickets are currently on sale via the 4TheFans website with more dates to be added weekly.
Each ticket provides entry for three people per vehicle as the event strives to meet the latest government requirements on social distancing and safety.
