How much do you trust your partner behind the wheel?
With Valentine’s day right around the corner, a new survey has lifted the lid on how we interact with our loved ones in the car.
Encouragingly, 58% of us Brits trust our partner enough to let them drive our car. But it’s not all lovey-dovey when spouses travel together.
One in four of us put our hand up to nagging our significant other about how fast they drive, according to LeasePlan’s survey of more than 1,000 adults.
The fleet management and financial services firm’s poll found that:
- Only 7% of us don’t trust our partners to drive our cars
- Half (52%) can’t help passing comment on their lovers’ driving skills
- 1 in 6 pass judgement about their spouse’s parking ability…or lack of it
- Over half (64%) think we drive better than our partner
